Volg dan eens een sprint interval training (ofwel SIT). Zoals de naam het aangeeft is dit ook weer een vorm van intervaltraining, echter is het een zeer intensieve training die bestaat uit een serie korte running segmenten. Je rent bijvoorbeeld per segment op een intensiteit tussen de 85 \u00e0 95% voor 20 a 30 seconden. Je leest het goed, je gaat dus bijna voor de volle snelheid die je kunt en wisselt dit af met een wandel of bij echte nood een volledige stilstand om te pauzeren. Natuurlijk kun je zo nooit een training van 30 minuten volmaken als je continue tegen de 95% geeft, vandaar dat de training ook relatief weinig tijd kost. Je vraagt veel van je lichaam tijdens een SIT waardoor deze training een relatief hoog risico van blessures met zich meebrengt..<\/li>\n<li>Een sprint training kun je het beste op een hardloopbaan doen zodat je geen last van verkeer of stoplichten hebt of een onregelmatig loopvlak.<\/li>\n<li>Neem genoeg rust tussen een sprint interval training en je volgende training.<\/li>\n<li>Loop je veel duurlopen, dan kan een keer een SIT goed zijn, echter te vaak heeft een slechte invloed op je langere uithoudingsvermogen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Wat is het verschil met een High Intensity Interval Training?<br \/>\nSprint interval training lijkt heel erg op High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) maar het verschil is dat je langer rust hebt en de inspanning korter.<\/p>\n<h3>Slechts een van de interval trainingen.<\/h3>\n<p>Natuurlijk is een sprint interval training niet de enige type interval trainingen.
