Run Trainer B.V., located at Samuel van Houtenhof 6, 6836 HD Arnhem (hereinafter: Run Trainer), respects the privacy of all its users and other data subjects whose personal data it processes. Run Trainer considers careful handling of personal data to be of great importance and processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Run Trainer collects and processes personal data to enable users to track their sports performance, to conduct research for further development and improvement of the platform, to provide support in case of questions or issues, and in general to deliver the best possible user experience.
Run Trainer manages the data it receives via its own (hosted) servers. Access to this data is restricted to persons within the Run Trainer team or third parties engaged by Run Trainer under agreements that include appropriate privacy and security obligations. Sensitive data is additionally protected where possible, including by encryption.
This privacy policy is drafted in accordance with the GDPR and applies to both national and international users. In the event of translations, the Dutch version shall prevail.

Training data: anonymized upon account deletion and used only for statistical purposes.

Run Trainer does not sell personal data.
Data is shared only with processors such as hosting providers, analytics services (including Google Firebase and Google Analytics), and IT service providers. Data processing agreements are in place where required.
For purchases, Apple processes necessary data under its own privacy policy.

Run Trainer takes appropriate technical and organizational measures, including encryption, secure connections and access control.
No system is fully secure, but Run Trainer actively monitors and mitigates risks.
8. User Rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete or anonymize your data and to object to certain processing.

Permissions such as location, Apple Watch and Apple Health can be withdrawn via device settings.
9. Minors
The app is intended for users aged 16 and older. Younger users may only use the app with parental or legal guardian consent.
